The L-1 has been in production since 1937 and remains a firm favourite with designers, architects and the general public. L1 has deservedly been heralded as a classic and has been awarded many prizes for its timeless archetypal design.

This lamp was also used by Pixar in its opening credits for its animation films and was even the star of a Pixar short film called “Luxo Jr.”
